It is an excellent CGI animation, to be sure. Impossible in real life, of course...

The way the shadows, textures the way the camera moved etc I didn't think it was real, but I thought it was really good

Fantastic animation. You could see right away though that it's not real :) The obvious midi sound is a clear clue for one.

They used to do these on the Leo Laport show on G4. Some of the animations were incredible.
