Subject: rendering question

I have a project that I have to print that is not pixelate or have graniness to it. I have Poser 7 -- what manuel setting do I need to have it at not to have that  The picture requirment has to be 8X12 -- I have been going out of my brain and spending money at Kinko for printing -- everything looks nice but my figure which is renderd in Poser 7 -- Help!!! I need to have it done by Sunday -- I have to hand it in on Monday

at 8x12 you'll want to have at least 2400 Pixels by 3600 (which comes out to 300 DPI). You wouldn't go amiss doubling that.

In case you don't know how to set that: click on Render (next to Preview in the preview window) and then click on the dimensions. For me, they are both in the upper left corner of the window. Then click on Render to exact dimensions and just enter the pixels. You don't need to worry about the pixels per inch as it really has no effect on the finished project.

I did answer in the previous thread you started.  Multiply the inch size by 300 and render to that pixel dimension.

What do you mean by multiply the inch size and how do I do that?

if the print is to be 8inx12in then the render size to print at 300dpi needs to be 8in x 300 =2400 pixels by 12in x 300 = 3600 pixels.  Set your render dimensions to be 2400x3600.
