No but that's what my VSS script does. You edit materials on a "control prop". Then at the push of a button it distributes these materials onto the many material zones of another prop, or many props, or a figure, or many figures.
Also, it comes with some pretty good shaders for humans.
By default it has template material zones and built-in shaders for skin, teeth, inner mouth parts, iris, sclera, cornea, etc. You can add new material zones and load any shader you want into it. You can edit the materials in one place then "Synchronize" your figure to match the edited materials. Further, it will automatically apply the correct texture maps on a per-zone basis.
Search the gallery for "VSS" to see what people have done with it.
Renderosity forum reply notifications are wonky. If I read a follow-up in a thread, but I don't myself reply, then notifications no longer happen AT ALL on that thread. So if I seem to be ignoring a question, that's why. (Updated September 23, 2019)

Hey, i was wondering if it is possible in Poser8 to edit more than one material zone at a time e.g. hands,legs,feet, etc.
i thought i read it in a poser 8 review but i cant find it anywhere??
