I have to say that is one of the joys of digital for me. There is no limit to how many shots I can try (I have a lot of memory)--I would never have attempted this with my SLR because a lot of money would have gone into developing all those 1/2 fish, fish erupting in foam and waves just as you shot, etc. It would have been nice to have used my tripod, but the circumstances prevented it, BTW. For all the reservations by many about digicams, I know I would never have a darkroom, never be able to experiment as I do now, so that, for me, is the joy of shooting digitally. Plus, I work with other chems all the time--no need to expose myself to even more. I have a couple of friends that look askance at the 'digital darkroom'--somehow consider only using traditional methods as being acceptable. However, they are still shooting on film, taking their film to be developed--thus losing all control over their images. There are certainly many reasons for shooting film, but I most likely will never go back. In fact, I think I will have to start saving money now for a digital SLR in the future (relatively distant future, but it will take a lot of those pennies LOL).
