I have a picture of a friend that I really want..BUT, it has a shadow across parts of the body and face...Any suggestons on how to remove those shadows...Using PS 3..

...I often create an adjustment layer, using curves or levels, to match the shadows to the rest of the image, you can then fill the mask (black) and paint into it (white) where the shadows are to lighten them...  :)
