Subject: Does any one know how to make a V4 or M4 look like they are breathing?

I am just not finding a tutorial for this, and python scripts arent helping. Also, I don't need the facial expressions, just the breathing animation.

Try mouth-to-mouth resuscitation!

Or alternate the inhale morph between +1 and -1.

Using the Parameter Dials, go to Deformers,  Morphs|Shapes, Morphs++, Upper Torso.
Then enter 1.000 on Inhale ,  step forward a few frames, enter -1.000, step forward a few frames,
enter 1.000, etc.  That's what I do anyway.

there is an 'inhale'  morph  in  the 'upper torso'  section of the Morphs ++ set

There should be a coordination of the inhale function which will thrust out the chest and the abdomen moving out as the diaphragm lowers on a drawn breath.

Try ockham's Naturalizer script (see linked thread for a version know to work with V4/M4).

Sometimes you can fake the effect by xRotation the abdomen one direction and the chest the opposite direction.  Bending them into each other by equal and opposite amounts make's it look like the figure is breathing.
