Subject: The PIcture BELOW ME....

I took this picture because I wanted to see if I could get a good shot of the island in Lake Ballinger (which someone set on fire a few months ago out of sheer stupidity).  But look!  A trash can!  :D

The picture below me shows something industrial.

Atchison, Kansas but I am embarrased to admit, I don't know what is being made here:) Probably something agricultural.

The picture below me shows a mountain (or part of one).

This is pretty much the whole thing.

FLAT - west of downtown Chicago. That's Midway Airport out there.

And it is flat in the other three cardinal directions too:)

The picture below me shows something WET.

I'm not sure how strange this fruit is Helle but it is certainly exotic in our part of the world. You pay an arm and a leg for them!! The lovely pomegranate... This one is not quite ripe yet, but getting there!

The picture below me shows a chicken (Rooster) - alive... LOL...

Not that I know of!  LOL!  I think the closest I could get would be a grocery store.  I suppose I could walk around town and listen for clucking ... maybe somebody has one or two in their back yard.

Oh wait!  LOL!  I'll be right back ...

And that's a beautiful bull, Helle.  He's a stunner!

Something I use all the time around my house?  Hmmmm ... let me think ... it certainly wouldn't be something in the kitchen!  LOL!

I'm sorry, Bruce, I don't quite understand you.  Sun?  What is this "sun" you speak of?

West_coaster07 ( ) posted Tue, 17 November 2009 at 1:47 AM

Tara,

Your  absolutely right questioning this thing called sun*.  I should have told said where in most parts of the world it could be used in both sun and rain....here in the Pacific Northwest where there is no sun it is used only in rain.

  • ....a self-luminous heavenly body, star
.....sunshine, the heat and light from the sun, to be exposed to the sun
......something likened to the sun in brightness, spendor, etc

Below me is a picture of something used for carrying anything!

Just my thought and this is a genius shot for this. I love it.

auntietk ( ) posted Wed, 18 November 2009 at 6:04 AM

I thought of umbrellas, but of course we don't use them here, so I don't have any pictures of any!  I mean ... we all have them ... and I use one when I go stand outside and talk to my smoker friends on break ... but nobody actually walks around with them unless they're from out of State.  They're just something to leave on the bus!  LOL!

I have placed this in my gallery some time ago! It is a warthog in the Pilanesberg Game Reserve who, after a nice mud bath, proceeded scratching his bum against a rock... It was so funny...

The picture below me contains your funkiest shoes.

Tara, glad you liked the flowers.  Carin what a fabulously funny image!

bmac62 ( ) posted Thu, 19 November 2009 at 12:52 AM

I don't have any funky shoes...I've been good and thrown all the funky ones away.

You know, my shoe store owner claims women buy 10 pairs of shoes to every one pair bought by a man. He says men, treat buying a pair of shoes like getting married...slow on making a commitment but when they do buy a pair they stick with them for years:-)

If these socks are okay with you, then I would like to see something blue .. in whatever way you interpret that!

Oh, boy...how about a whole bunch of measuring devices?

Pardon the horrid reflection. This image is on a display stand with a plexiglass cover...no matter what I did I couldn't get rid of the glare.

This is a really old picture of my workspace here at home.  I no longer have the monitor, printer, scanner, mouse or computer, but I am hanging on for dear life to that keyboard!  It's a million years old, but it has a typewriter touch, and I love it.  What can I say ... I'm old!  It clicks with a very satisfying sound, and I always know just where I am with it.
