Subject: can't get ebots from r'sity site anymore.

I can't get my ebots anymore. I think I have everything checked and I even double checked in my spam filter. Is there maybe somewhere else on the site I may have missed that needs resetting or is there a new addy I need to use?

I even checked to make sure the little box was checked when I posted to a thread. Including this one.

Never mind. I went into options and turned it all off and then turned it back on and it seems to be working again.

This was the first time I have ever had the problem in all the years I've been here. Not counting when the whole site has had trouble.

Chalk it up to gremlins. LOL.

Hmmm... I am just having the problem. Except notifications about messages I get no ebots (gallery and forums). Strange!

I'm not always right, but my mistakes are more interesting!

Well, after resetting the notification settings I get them BUT, now I get all the new post notifications too. I don't want that but I can't seem to figure out how to stop those and keep the thread reply ebots.

Does unsibscribing from the threads in question help?

no. I want the ebot from the thread I post to but I don't want all the ebots of new threads.

I never had this problem before. I may just turn it all off again because I really don't want those new post ebots.

You get notifications for each and every thread?!?!? OMG!! :scared: You must be drowning in mails!
I don't even get notifications when someone comments on an image. I even changed the eMail adress several times because I thought it may be a glitch with my hoster but the only notification I've got since hours was one for this thread.

I have just unsubscribed to this forum. So if you can post here again I can see if I get the thread reply ebot and hopefully not the new post threads.

I am glad that everything works again for you. Today I got messages again like I should - but I added a different eMail before. Now I changed everything back to my standard mail to see if this works...
