Version 8 I mean, any release date on this? Thought it was supposed to be early in the 4th quarter.
Thanks

They never announced anything at all about a timeframe, to my knowledge.

But yes, I have heard something about it.. ;)

Way too many people take way too many things way too seriously.

thinkcooper referred to the next release as PoserPro 2010.

I'm pretty sure it was only the semi-public beta that was going to be available sometime soon (ISTR December was mentioned).

I think I read that SM were aiming for first quarter 2010 as a release date for Poser Pro 2010.

Poser 12, in feet.

OSes:  Win7Prox64, Win7Ultx64

Silo Pro 2.5.6 64bit, Vue Infinite 2014.7, Genetica 4.0 Studio, UV Mapper Pro, UV Layout Pro, PhotoImpact X3, GIF Animator 5

I hope that SM. are more serious in their beta testing than it appears They were with Poser 8..

No personal attacks on Me will change  the Fact that SR2 has only been released a few days and there is already talk in these forums of SR3..  (My P8 is running Very well at the moment.)

Where's your problem with that? They know they didn't fix all problems and intend to fix them or add more features via SR3. Would you have liked it better if they skipped SR2 and you had to wait a few more Months? ;-)

Well, there needs to be an SR3 to fix things not fixed in SRs 1 & 2.

Well actually there are problems in 7 they said they intended to fix yet instead sold poser 8 which in my opinion was not ready for release, yet they once again put it on the get it on sale now or pay more later wagon they rode in on 7. Attacks on the people who bought it are in my opinion misplaced anger against a company that once again is trying to fix major problems that it should never have been released with. Some bugs are expected but there are bugs in this program that I figure will be fixed in version 9. And before you say why did you buy it then?, I figured I'd get the sale price and the cut price on the pro version. No...he probably would not rather wait for months for another SR, like me he probably would rather have spent his money on a prgram that is not so buggy that you have to keep a can of Raid on your desk.
Flame on if you must, doesn't affect my day in the least.
