Subject: Help.... I can't Inject Aiko4,Girl4 and Elite Morphs into V4.2 Base??

Mariny ( ) posted Wed, 25 November 2009 at 4:05 AM · edited Mon, 23 December 2024 at 1:55 PM

I have used Poser in many years now, and have never had this problem before..

I open V4.2 into the scene, and Inj Ako4,Elite and Girl 4 morphs... The load, but i don't see the morphs anymore in the prameter dial???
The V4.2 morphs package works fine..

I downloaded all files again from Daz, but it don't help...

I have tried in Poser6, Poser 7 and Poser 8.. The same problem in all:-

Hope someone can help me, so I get my Aiko 4 character finish:-))

What you mean??
I always use the morph ++ package....

I have made many iko 4 packages and this haven't been any problems before:-()

I inj all the injection from the pose folder:
"Inj Aiko 4"
"In Elite"
"Inj TheGirl"
"Inj V4.2 Morphs+++"

I ment Aiko 4 and not iko:-)) My fingers goes to fast here:-))

Try injecting Base, then ++, then others after that, some only seem to work if the ++ are there first

Do you have try to reinstall v4.2 and all the morphs ?

Or reinitialize the morphs ?

Hi... I tried as 3Dave says, but don't help..
And YES i have reinstalled V4.2 and all the morphs + reinitialized...
Don't work either

I also have reinstalled all my pose programs too:-((

I have seen this before.  Apparently you cannot load all the morphs into the same figure, it just doesn't work.  I've experienced the same problem with loading  the creature morph to a heavily loaded figure.  They don't play nice together.

I have used the morphs before, when i made Aiko 4 character... I don't use them all at the same time (Aiko4,Girl4,elite).. They don't work "alone" either..

Can it be something wrong since i run Windows 7 64 bit??

I used 32 bit before...

I need this 64 bit so i can use all my 8 GB RAM.. In 32 bit i only culd use 3.25 GB of those 8 GM RAM...

I don't think it's a windows related problem. What's your installation setup? did you install poser under Program Files or somewhere else? what about the runtime?

Mariny ( ) posted Wed, 25 November 2009 at 10:13 AM

runtime and poser is installed under program files.. I have ad tehm installed that way for many years now...

vholf ( ) posted Wed, 25 November 2009 at 12:11 PM · edited Wed, 25 November 2009 at 12:15 PM

Right, but I've seen many issues with Poser installed under Program Files folder using Vista or Windows 7, it could be that Victoria 4 updater is not getting permission to run properly or something similar. Try installing V4 to an external runtime outside windows installation drive and try if it works.

Also, make sure you don't compress the delta files under Runtime:Libraries:!Daz3D or the updater won't work.

Mariny ( ) posted Wed, 25 November 2009 at 4:08 PM

If i try to install outside where poser is it says:

"When used with poser tm, victoria 4.2 base must be installed to the same directory as the application executable; due to restrictions on support file location.. Please select the directory that contains your poser executable"

What shall i do>??

Well I have V4 in an external runtime and never had problems, I guess that notice applies to earlier versions of poser ( > poser 6 ), so give it a try. Or do you mean it won't let you install.

Mariny ( ) posted Wed, 25 November 2009 at 5:10 PM

It won't let me install..

But now i try to put the cr2.files manually over to an external hardisk after installed in the poser directory, and let the " libraries:!DAZ" folder be in the poser runtime.. So i shal see if that works when i'm done:-))

vholf ( ) posted Wed, 25 November 2009 at 5:23 PM

Oh, you are right, I'm sorry, it wont let you install because it asks for the poser executable, BUT there is a workaround I use, go to the external runtime and create a new blank text file, then rename it to Poser.exe, it will fool the installer and let it  continue.
