Subject: Probably a stupid question

 This is probably a newbie question or something, but I have purchased merchant resource make up kits and they have shiny eyeshadows. Just wondering, how do you get it to render shiny like that? I hope this isn't a confusing question but just curious as to how you get the most of the kit, I mean if I have them I might as well use them to their full potential yes?
