okay ....please be patient...I just bought Wysteria from the renderocity store...is the only way I can create this character by opening the scene files I mean the .pz3 files? I was under the impression I would be able to find the item in the figures folder just like victoria etc., and also why do I get the error message" unexpected error (generic failure" when I try to open the .obj file saved from the .pz3 file......sorry if these are dumb questions....newbies huh

Heya... I will try to help :) Yes, the way to create Wysteria is to open the scene files were she is a part of an already set up scene, with her clothes, hair, flowers, textures, everything added to her and parented correctly and everything :) Thorne prefers to distribute his characters in the poser scene files :) It does have the advantage of the fact it is all ready to go :) To save her out to your libraries for later use, just choose which library you would like, click the little + button, name her (there are two distinct versions of her btw, one dressed by me and one by Thorne), and when it asks if you wish to save the group, click yes or no. Yes will save her and all of her clothing and everything that is on her :) No will just save her, or whatever you have selected at the time, which could be her bikini top for example. All of her hair, clothes, props, etc though are saved out to seperate libraries already, so that you may easily add these to other characters, or back and forth between the two differently colored versions of Wysteria :) As to an error on the obj file... I am not sure what that would indicate, since I have not tried to do what you are doing there it would seem, instead just opening the scene files. I hope this helps... if not please feel free to send me email at mehndi_studios@hotmail.com or hbg@kreative.net :)

Hi and thanks for the prompt reply.....okay I understand about he scenes now......but saving to libraries?? and little + button?? sorry I dont know what that means....and for the .obj file.....okay what about this.......how do I open the pretty wysteria in bryce?....is it possible....oh tell me it is....lol

chuckles There are some people who do port Poser figures into Bryce. I am not one of those, since I do not own Bryce. You might go post to the Bryce forum and ask for directions on how to do this. I do know it takes setting up all the materials and transparency maps again by hand, for starters. Otherwise, as to straight opening it up in Bryce, that is not possible :( I wish it were. The little + button is at the bottom of your library areas. If you have something in your scene that can be saved selected, you will find that you have a little + button available. Clicking this will get you a request for a name, then it will add that item to your library folders. Best read the manuel for these sorts of things :)
