I'm looking for a hyperdermic needle for poser. I bought several medical medical themed sets, but no needle. Can any one please help? I need a high rez, detailed needle for close ups. It need to be a needle model that can be used on a commerical project, a book cover.

Wow! That was fast. I'm looking for something a little smaller. It's an anti-drug cover and if anyone took that large a dose it would kill instantly, instead of slowly destroying them.

Thanks for trying to help, I appreicate the effort.

?  You know, you can move the "syringe" part to give you the "dose" you want ;)  And you can make the syringe itself smaller.

Hi jenx

I bought the syringe. The model's great, I just can't use it for the current cover.

Jeff

When I tried downloading the syringe from TrekkieGrrrls site I get a window that says, "no such document".

The Syringe is hosted at ShareCG. I just tried it andit works fine. Perhaps ShareCG had a momentarily downtime?

Also I have the NEEDLE on it's own as part of a pack of "pointy stuff" - it's available over at raunchyminds dot com.

Hm... I guess I should move my things OFF ShareCG if they aren't stable enough...

I'm just wondering what one would use a hyperdermic needle for.  A hypodermic needle allows access to the layer just beneath the skin, as the name implies.  I'm assuming a hyperdermic needle would blow through the skin and some other layers as well.  Are these used for bone extraction?  Do they have excessively long needles?  Do they come out the other side?

Inquiring minds want to know.

You might want to go to www.turbosquid.com and type in "syringe". Lots of stuff there if you don't want to bother building one yourself and can spare some spendolas.
