Subject: Having problem with an order I bought...

genefleeman ( ) posted Thu, 03 December 2009 at 9:20 PM · edited Fri, 20 September 2024 at 12:22 PM

I just bought Sabby's LipFX from the store and On a Mac Using OSX  10.6.1  the pythonscript opens a box that should be for choosing one of three or more out of three but the writing and choice boxes are all repeated over and over all down the popup box...  You can not make a choice of ane but instead end up with all three no matter what you do...  I have sent a PM to Sabby and I have a screen shot of the box and how it defectively appears on my computer...  if anyone else has had this problem and knows of a workaround for this I would be interested in how to fix it...  I don't want to give up on it because it looks like it would be really nice if it just worked right..   I am not looking for a refund as my first choice...  If an amount of time goes by I must get a refund before it is too late so it is urgent that I find a fix if there is one....any HELP???

I did and she answered today..  We are trying to get it to work..  Her support so far is excellent.. now if only we can getr it to work for me..  I think it is because I am using a Mac with OS 10.6.2 and it must have some kind of problem running the script...  we shall see, I have plenty of time before I have to give up and get a refund and hopefully I won't need a refund..  I like the effect if only it will work....

Here's what I wrote Sabby about the LipFX after she kept at it till it worked...
"Well,  there won't be any reason for a refund.. The last script you gave me worked fine for some reason...   I want to thank you very much for seeing me through this..  I so much wanted this to work, as I needed a good way to get the gloss on the lips of my characters because I was doing it by hand,  in postwork, for so long and sometimes it worked and sometimes it didn't look so hot..

You stuck with it till it worked and that is what I will reporrt to the forums, where I had asked if anyone there knew how to get it to work..  They were concerned and I promised them I would let them know how it turned out..  I have something good to say now and a script that works and does what I wanted in the first place..  You have my undying gratitude... genefleeman"..

As I told her she did a great job supporting her item and I am very, very pleased...

That is so good to hear. I really appreciate you taking the time to let the vendor and us know how satisfied you are with the product support and the product. Now days it is rare for anyone to let you know when you do something right but are very quick to let you know when you mess up so THANK YOU, I'm sure the vendor appreciates it very much : )

Have a wonderful day!
