hrmmmm.. try this mate...parent all teh parts to the base... which you've done... ensure the base is selected... when you save to teh prop library... at teh left is a select thingy button.. click on that it opens up a hierarchy window... select all teh pieces parts you want.... then save it to the library.. the two things here is to parent the pieces.. and selecting the main parent. the heirarchy window selection bit is just to make sure Poser doesn't forget that you want ALL the pieces tis how I saved the Diablo and Prowler as well as teh articulated motorcycles I worked on 8 ) they should drop back into place when you add the prop to the scene. you may have to reparent the parts.. depending on which upgrade/version you have CHeers

you could File Export Wavefront Obj and select all five pieces, then re-import and the whole thing comes back in as a single obj but retains the original mapping.

better yet, convert it to the heiarchy and it will come in like a whole piece, since it doesn't have moveable parts, plob it in PhiBuilder, don't worry about parenting, save as .phi file and then convert, whole thing will go right away into your library. Sharen

Not to mention if you do it that way, you can still keep all your groups. Sharen

Nance is right or you could go in the joint editor parent the parts to one another and save as a figure.

I also stress that saving it as a obj file retains all groups too and it's a much simpler solution. But be warned once as a single object though it still retains the UV mapping you may have to run it through UVMapper (or other mapping program) to place ALL the new groups in a single texture map. 1:Make sure it's the only figure/prop in the window/stage. Size everything to exactly what you want it. 2:Export as "WaveFront Obj" 3:When the hierarchy window pops up just click yes/ok since this is the only thing there, it is fine to proceed (if there is anything in this requester that you don't want placed in the NEW obj deselect them NOW. 4:Now just load the NEW obj in Poser and ta da! No need to select a "scale" factor since you've done that already. James

Or....here goes my two cents worth....parent everything to one piece then open the heirarchy properties window, click on that piece - all the other pieces should be listed in the parent/child tree below it. Now click on create new figure. Poser will combine all the pieces together and stick them in the new figure library as a cr2. All your material, color, trans, etc., settings will remain intact. Rob
