Subject: Wardrobe Wizard

Hi all, I have recently purchased Poser 8 and I am re-aqainting myself with the software after a couple of years away.

All is going well so far and loving poser 8.

I am now creating characters and obviously need to make the clothes fit.

I've used the search function and now realise that my Tailor 1.61 is now useless for V4.2

I am looking to re-install wardrobe wizard. I ahve gone to my back up files and have found the following Folders:

WW_P7_ONLY
WW_V4

I also seem to have created a folder called "WW Version 2 - Latest"?

This contains a "base figures" folder and a 8 "Expansionpack folders" with a "ww2 pc plugin" folder and a WW2_PC_standalone" folder

Can anyone remind me what to do with these or which ones I should be using. I havent looked at them since 2007 and It's making my head spin :o/

Thanks for any help

Marv

Had you realized that Wardrobe Wizard is now included in Poser 8? You do not need to install it, it is already there. The support files for the base "Poser family" figure are also included, if you have any other support files that you previously used with Wardrobe Wizard 2 you can install those in Poser 8.

A free utility to copy these support files over from a previous version is available at
http://www.philc.net/store_WW_Extra_Figs.php

If you need to install the support files manually the files go into this folder:-
Poser 8:Runtime:Python:poserScripts:PhilC:Wardrobe Wizard P8:data

To fire up Wardrobe Wizard in Poser 8 go to the Poser menu Scripts > Wardrobe Wizard Menu.

Hope this helps.

Hi Phil, thanks for that :o)

I did know WW was in P8 but thought it was only for converting to P8 from other figure types.
I have just unzipped all my expansion packs and located them as directed. It works fine now.

Many Thanks

Just following on from this, I am trying to make some V4.2 clothing fit the the v4 teen.
Is it possible to do this, I have been trying for some time but without success.
I have found the tutorials on Phil c site but so far haven't found one that does this.

Is it possible to do this using WW, or do I need some other software.

Thanks

Marv
