Subject: OT somewhat...but will not be commenting on stuff much for a bit
Really sorry to hear the bad news. All my best wishes to you, your sister in law and family.

Thank you all for your wishes and prayers.
Last night and today has been very hard.
My sister-in-law was in and out but did know most of us at times.
Today we heard she was doing better, more responsive but shortly after Mom, my daughter and grand daughters arrived, they were told she only had a few hours left at most.
The doctors put her on a breathing machine and gave everyone a chance to say goodbye.
My brother requested just a few of us to remain with her and had a chaplin say a few words and requested the life support removed.
She left us a few minutes later.
I pray she has found peace and rest now.

It is not how we die that matters. It is how we live and the difference we make in another's life. I can tell she was a wonderful person just because I've seen you in action and know you from your posts. For her to affect you so, she must have been something. She's at rest now and not suffering any more.
You have my thoughts, and I just want you to know, you are not alone. My family died on the holidays some decades ago, but they had an effect on me, because they were some characters. As long as you can remember some part of her, she's not really gone completely from your life.
We ALL are made from the good times and tragedies we go through. As such, she is part of you forever. I hope things won't be too bad for you and her family. Just remember that they and you are not alone in your pain. Many of us have suffered and are willing to listen and lend shoulders for an ocean of tears.

Thank you all for your kind words.
She and my brother had been married 41 years and she was like a sister to me.
It was very hard to see her like that.
I hope she has found some peace and relief from her pain now.

This is mainly to the ones whose work I usually comment on often.
I will only be popping in now and then for a bit.
My sister-in-law is in the hospital and in very bad shape.
She was taken because of pneumonia but after several bad spells of being unable to breath on her own, they did some more tests.
Unfortunately it is cancer.
We were told last night that it only sprang up within the last three months, a very fast spreading kind.
It is already in her bloodstream.
Even if she comes through this bad patch she only has about 6 to 8 months at the rate it is going.
So we are all trying to be there for her and my brother and his kids (all grown).
I'll pop in as I can but may not do comments.
Prayers and good thoughts for her family, please.
