Hi all,

Can someone please tell me where the library palette information is stored. In particular, I am referring to when you add new runtimes, as I am trying to find a way of re-ordering the display of runtimes in the library palette.

thanks,
Andrew

Look for the file LibraryPrefs.xml.   Location varies with OS, so best advice is just to search
for it.   Within this file, if you're halfway familiar with HTML or XML, you should be able to
change the order of the paragraphs.  It's neatly organized, with the groups easy to see.

Note that the currently selected runtime is indicated by the curFolder
variable in about the fourth line of the file.  For instance, if the top runtime
in the list is the current one, this variable will say
curFolder="0"

Not in P8.

Renderosity forum reply notifications are wonky. If I read a follow-up in a thread, but I don't myself reply, then notifications no longer happen AT ALL on that thread. So if I seem to be ignoring a question, that's why. (Updated September 23, 2019)

I am having trouble with my P8 library and I wonder if there is a way to make it look like my PP library? I am fortunate to have a second monitor to spread out on, but the Poser 8 library doesn't give me all the thumbnails, like PP or P7-P1 did.

Anybody have any advice? Thanks.

If you're not averse to spending $9, D3Ds XL Library would do the trick.

As there will be improvements to the library made for Poser Pro 2010, I guess those will also appear in an Update for Poser 8, so he can also just wait for that to happen.

And if he doesn't want to spend money and uses a PC, he can also use any of the other free library browsers, like Advanced Library, P3dO, ...
