Subject: Poser8: "Show origin" doesn't work as it should

Hi!

Changing the origin of a prop can be very helpful, when making complex props with moving parts and without converting it to a figure and rigging it in the setup-room. A handy tool is the "Display Origin" in the properties-settings. In Poser7 it worked flawless and showed up as dials for moving the origin into all directions, as well the origin was visually clearly located in the prop by showing the xyz-axxis. In Poser8 the dials show up, but not where it is located in my working-window. This way the whole function is pretty useless and nothing more than a guess-work or "trial and error".

I'm not shure if it is really a bug or if I've simply overseen , how to make the coordinate-cross visible. In Poser 6/7 it worked with the standart-settings. Any ideas?

How does this look with the Joint Editor open?

they're aware of this, anyway.  origin will display in green and be adjustable in some versions of poser 8 after opening joint editor.

Joint-Editor ....... dooooh!

Finally a way to adjust the origin without playing arround for ages!
However, it should be visible only by clicking the "display origin"-button. But this way I can live with it, until a new patch will be released (perhaps ... ).

Big thank you for the hint!
