That looks like a grouping problem
A word is not the same with one writer as with another. One tears it from his guts. The other pulls it out of his overcoat pocket
Charles Péguy
Heat and animosity, contest and conflict, may sharpen the wits, although they rarely do;they never strengthen the understanding, clear the perspicacity, guide the judgment, or improve the heart
Walter Savage Landor
So is that TTFN or TANSTAAFL?
It looks like it might be a bone, if you make a figure and it has an unused bone it sometimes appears as a black triangle.
If the figure does have an extra bone, you could delete it in the setup room and then leave the setup room, the triangle should now be a prop and can be deleted, then save the clothing figure into a folder.
How do I fix it? Whenever I load Michael 4 into the setup room that bone appears out of the hip and when I leave the setup room, whether I've grouped anything or not, the bone stays visible when I leave the room. :(
Thanks.

I've tried and it won't delete. It appears to be a bone but I can't select it like I can the other bones and delete it. :(

Quote - You will probably have to edit the cr2 to manually remove the bone.
You mean the cr2 for Michael 4 or for my new conforming figure? Also how do I do that? :(

Quote - There is another thread with the same issue. I believe the center of mass was the issue, you need to delete it from the conformer I think.
It was in the poser forum within the last 3 weeks ,
How do I do that?

Does anyone here make conforming figures for Michael 4 with Poser? Does anyone else have this problem? Am I the only one in the whole wide world who has this problem with Michael 4? Is my computer somehow special among all other computers in the world. Comon! This is just getting frustrating! No one seems to have the same problem. No one knows how to fix the problem. DAZ created a special Michael 4 just for Gary Childress to download which has this unique problem which no one else has ever seen nor run into nor does anyone know anything about it. Unbelievable... :(
I apologize for my attitude but I've tried repeatedly to get an answer to my querry on these forums and no one seems to know what I'm talking about. It's as if no one here has ever made conforming clothes for Michael 4. Like no one else has ever run into this problem. I just can't believe that I'm the only one in the whole world who has ever noticed this or had this happen.

Did you pick up the M4 "Blank" CR2 that DavidGB put together? If not, go get it and use this for the donor rig:

I'm surprised you have the impression people aren't willing to help you, I guess you forgot the times I've talked to you and Phil Cooke as well.
The thing is, if you don't start with a "blank" CR2 you end up with a ton of garbage in the new CR2 you have to remove by hand anyway - or at least you should.

Thank you for the link. Problem solved.
I apologize again for my frustration. I've tried to get this problem solved 3 other times on these forums and no one had a good answer until now and last night while working on a project I had put a lot of time into I got frustrated (mostly with DAZ). But things are rosey now and life is good.
Thank you again for everyone's help. I just got enormously frustrated and apologize for my frustration.

Does this rig still make that bit of geometry stick out, or does it work now? If you still have this problem let me know.

The new rig works perfectly. No problems anymore. :)

Great. NOW - do you know how to do JCMs? Because you'll need to in many places, particularly the knee and probably the top side of the foot.

What are JCMs? So the answer is no I don't. :(

JCMs are Joint Controlled Morphs. You will probably need to set these up at least at the knee, so that as it bends it will change the shape of the trouser to follow the character's leg, and maybe other places as well.

Thanks, I have the page bookmarked for future reference. Right now I'm just working on a set of belt and suspenders so I don't think I'll need the info yet. But I hope to eventually get into more complex stuff like pants and clothing.

I'm having a devil of a time creating a conforming figure for Michael 4. Everytime I go into the setup room and load Micheal 4 I get this weird protruding triangle coming out of the waist of my newly created conforming figure. I really, really must get rid of this thing but I have no idea how or no idea why it's doing this. I'm about to throw in the towel and give up on the hope of ever creating my first conforming figure for Michael 4. Please, if ANYONE knows what I'm doing wrong or how to correct this problem, please help me. I would really like to create conforming figures for Michael 4. But I'm about to give up. :(
Thank you very much for any help. I really do appreciate everyone's generosity and willingness to help in these forums.
