I noticed C3D really slowing down yesterday, a lot of the pages we're timing out.

Well im totlay sick of it.. my nice Vue 8 wants to sync with the site ..and gets nowere
So it refuses to work ...

Wasted my day of work ..due to irritating VUE makers who think that making Vue needing to stay on the internet is a good thing ...

I hope that a HUGE company now starts a law suit because they lose a day work too ..
Maybe that will change their minds...
E-ON ..BAD move on the Inet connection stuff BAD BAD BAD MOVE... i hope they rip your bank account in court ...
SO ! i said it

BAR-CODE ... your Vue 8 won't start and run, because e-onsoftware.com is down ??
How can that be ? Is it a new installation needing activation ?

FrankT ( ) posted Sun, 24 January 2010 at 2:31 PM

Vue 8 doesn't need to be connected to the internet to work.  I just pulled the network cable out of this one and Vue starts up fine.

Well ...
E-onsoftware.com und Cornucopia3d.com are working again ...

But like being told on the simple maintenance info, you should go into the options/settings of your web browser and delete the cookies from e-onsoftware.com und cornucopia3d.com ...

But make sure, you remember your login data - name and password - because you will have to login again on both sides, to be noticed as a Vue user and C3D customer and can use your account.

I've never had Vue demand to sync with C3D, which is fortunate since I only use Vue on an offline computer.  If Vue can't start when C3D is down, this is a bug that should be reported.

My Vue also runs in an offline computer and never had any problem with any sync whatsoever. Anyway, one of the first things I always do with any new Vue installation is to forbid any internet connection in the options menu.
