Subject: Saving dynamic hair from specific frame?

Is there any way of saving dynamic hair from a specific frame.
I'm more than useless at using the styling tools in the hair room, but have achieved the look I want to use while running a hair simulation. When I save the hair and scullcap as a prop, it saves the way the hair is in frame 1. Is there any way I can save it from a specific frame, so that I can reuse it later in a different file?

export it to an obj file at the frame you want and then import that obj as a prop.

After having trouble importing the obj, I did this in Poser 6 and saved into a library to use in Poser 8. The hair shows up ok in preview but becomes invisible when I render. Is there a way to do what I asked above, so that I can get hair that will actually render.

You need to build it on a Prop, such as a Skull Cap to save it...
