Subject: Looking for a shoulder style holster (preferably free or below 3-5 Dollars US)

been looking all over the Net for one, but Ive only found leg holsters, whcih i have pleanty of  thank you very much

If you're a platinum club member at Daz, they have a set for D3 that includes a shoulder holster for $1.99. It's a double holster though. The 38 revolver pack (for $10) includes a holster with no belts that could be put pretty much anywhere and there are lots of shoulder harnesses out there for free.

thanks, but sadly im not a Platinum member, I cant afford it, nor can i really afford the full price. But thanks for the links though

Well, you could always take one of the free harnesses (such as this one: http://www.renderosity.com/mod/freestuff/details.php?item_id=55974) and hide the Hip and Abdomen and make the studs and rings on the leather transparent and then take a holster such as this one: http://www.renderosity.com/mod/freestuff/details.php?item_id=33367 and parent it to the chest on the side you want. and bang... shoulder holster. May not be exactly what you are looking for, but, hey, it's free. :)

tried that, the holster kept deforming when i parent it to the harness

Anyone able to help would need to know...

What doll base did you have in mind?  What weapon?  What clothing does it need to fit over/under?

strange. that didn't happen for me, but I only tried it with the harness and not conformed to anyone. I'll play around with it tonight and see if I cannot come up with a solution for you, seeing as how I'll want one myself someday soon.

I just tried it in Poser Pro with the harness and holster (parented to chest of the harness) listed above conformed to M4 and there was no deforming.

well i found out what was wrong: I forgot to lock the holsters. So after i looked them i parented them to BATLAB's V4 bodysuit harness with only the chest visible and they worked ^_^. Thanks for the help. Just saved me 24 US$
