Contest Rules

Contest runs from Jan. 30th to Feb. 28, 2010 .
The contest open to any 3d artist. It is in support of the legalization of marijuana for medicinal purposes only. Any entries that reference illegal activity will be immediately pulled from the contest. Sponsors & prize donors may or may not condone the subject matter of this contest.

Images must meet the following requirements:
All images must be an ad in support of the legalization of medicinal marijuana.
Images must be in JPG or GIF format.
You may use any 3D program to create your image & postwork is allowed.
Nudity, violence or profanity will not be allowed.
Entries must be images created specifically for this contest.
You may submit up to 3 images.

How to Enter
Register with a valid email address at 3d-camping.eu/forum. All submissions should be uploaded to the Hemp for Health Entries thread of this forum.

Judging
The winners will be chosen by a panel of judges. Images are judged based on image quality, lighting, design/composition, technique, and how well the theme was illustrated. All decisions by the judges are final.

Contest Rules
To participate you must be 18 years of age or older. The contest is open to individuals only. Judges are not eligible to enter.

If you are selected as a winner, you agree that the contest organizers may publicize your name and your contest entry. Apart from the prizes associated with being selected as a winner, the organizers shall not be obligated to compensate you in any way.

Each entrant shall indemnify, defend, and hold the Contest organizers and harmless from any third party claims arising from or related to that entrant's participation. In no event shall the contest organizers be liable to an entrant for acts or omissions arising out of or related to the contest.

Any artwork found to violate the rules of the contest or infringe on an existing copyright will be immediately disqualified.

The winning entries will be announced in the Hemp for Health forum thread. Winners will be notified by email & direct links to their prizes will be included. Contest organizers are in no way responsible for full inboxes, spam filters, or other forces outside of their control that do not allow the prize notifications to be received by the entrant.

Note: All images entered in the contest are copyrighted and owned by the respective artist. By submitting to a contest, the artist agrees to grant Contest organizers the right to print or otherwise re-publish the submitted images in various marketing or web materials so long as credit is given to the artist as the original creator of the image(s). No image(s) may be taken or used by any other third party without permission from the artist.

Contest organizers & persons who donated prizes may or may not condone the subject matter at hand, but we are thankful for their generosity.

It would be nice if they responded to registrations...I've been waiting the better part of an hour for my confirmation.. ...

Sorry about that, it can take a little while... I'm not the one activating registrations, so not sure how long it can take.  I'm thinking that at most, about 8 or 9 hours, as the person who IS taking care of that does have to sleep now and then, and they are in Europe (if that helps) =D

She did it this way to help control the sudden influx we were expecting, and to keep the people who DO post there - safe.
