Anyone ever deal with asileFX for Vue tutorials and if so what where your impressions?

Hello!

Yes, I have purchased quite a bit of stuff from them. I have the Vue 8 Intro and What's New Tutorial combo as well as the new Terrain scape tutorial. In my personal opinion they are excellent (especially the terrain one, the intro combo was a bit too basic for me , but still worth it). There is a lot of video as well as some supporting files (scenes, textures, brushes, etc.). The videos are quite expansive (usually many hours). However, his style of moderating might not be everybodies favorite. The videos are sort of "live recordings" of Nick working in Vue. So you get to see him exploring various ways and showing off the pitfalls as well as the occasional crash. So, it is not a straight to the point type of tutorial. As said above, I quite like this.

The Vue additions from them are of outstanding quality. I have the Rainforest, Coral and Ground cover packs as well as the color maps and their "low clouds". All of them are great.

Let me know if you have any specific question.

Ciao

I have bought several of their DVDs.  All well worth the money.  I love their trees - great textures.

Another vote of approval.  i'm working thru some tutorials myself; no complaints whatsoever.  Also bought the materials pack.  Will probably buy more.

asileFX makes top-notch training videos.  I've bought 4 or 5 so far for Vue 7-8.

Agree with Vladimir,I have great respect for his Vue knwoledge,  but he can also get easily carried away and forget the topic he was showing a minute before, and it can take him time to get back onb the subject. It can get on your nerve
. But in the end, you always get a fantastic Vue lesson.
