Remember how back in the day we could make our sky look like a rainbow if we wanted to with the sky mapping whatever it was called. Do you think there is a way to make that happen now but being able to have the spectral atmospheres ?

and as a side question, who would you recomend buying skies from over at Cornucopia 3D ?

I guess you could make a rainbow image in any 2D image, apply it in an alpha-plane in Vue and place it big enough to cover the whole sky (make it luminous 100% or more).

If you're talking about atmospheres, I wouldn't know as I make my own. But there's a great product to enrich your skies, although it's not voucher friendly: Cloudscapes #1, from Dick Scherzinger.

You can still have rainbows in any Vue atmosphere (except Image based lighting), provided the sun is behind your camera and you tick the rainbow option in the atmosphere editor.
As for atmos, I'll blow my own trumpet here, I sell under my real name there as Bruno Memain, and have a few spectral atmos packs, the one called "Overcast spectral skies" has an atmo with a rainbow. But they're not voucher friendly.

Bruno, I think Slonishko was not asking about normal rainbows but rather to apply a rainbow color map to the sky color, overall.

I don't think you can have the whole rainbow thing with a spectral sky because the sky colour is determined by the rest of the atmosphere settings.  Arturs idea is probably the best way to go about it though

Yes Rutra, this is exactly what i am talking about, but in Spectral mode with clouds. back in the day we used to have to add a plane with a fluffy sky picture to achieve what we can easily today, now I am only regressing :D Pushing technology in the wrong direction :D

I don't mean to hijack this thread, but have always wondered what the 'motivation' is behind some products being voucher-friendly, and others not.  I understand the concept, but was wondering if the hesitancy for a vendor NOT to make a product voucher-friendly is that they receive less commission or something?  I (naively?) thought that vouchers were the same as "real money" and that a vendor would get the same amount in each case.

Hope I'm not violating any sacred vendor/contractual issues.... just thought I'd ask....
