You can open to instances of Bryce. I've done it, and yes there was a slow down. I did go through a period with my pc when Bryce was running even though I had shut it down. I found it running inTask Manager!!!!!

I've got a render going on.. taking it's time out here.. premium render options on.
If I open bryce again..so I have two windows of bryce on..ie..one with the render..and one where I can start working on.. will anything slow down, or crash??
Would try it out..but I don't want it to crash coz of the render going on!
Oh.. 4 gigs of ram.. dual processor.. in case you need to know..
