THE PLACE FOR ALL THINGS BRYCE - GOT A PROBLEM? YOU'VE COME TO THE RIGHT PLACE

Subject: Call out for Included content for Bryce +...

foleypro ( ) posted Thu, 07 January 2010 at 8:56 PM · edited Mon, 22 July 2024 at 11:22 PM

Hello all..

I have been giving the "All go" on recruitment for inclusion of content for Bryce+..

THIS IS FREELY GIVEN CONTENT...You will not be PAID...You will get full Nameing rights but the content becomes apart of Bryce if you want included in the future releases of Bryce or any name associated with Bryce and or DAZ...

Mostly I am re-vamping the OBJECT content and I am looking for more content to use in v7...

let it be Known...

Anything that you give to DAZ for inclusion in Bryce+ you will have to sign an NDA..Your name or credits that you want will be included with the presets will be included after DAZ has put thru QA...

Ok I need content and I am not talking about any content...

I am putting this call out to see what YOU have...?

I will be making a more detailed proposal in the next few days or so...

If ya think more along the lines of a "Khomas Tinkade" type of theme then we will have a major hit...

Houses,Fences,Waterwells, anything that reminds you of "Old School" and maybe in the country type...

Now for you more Sci-fi guys and gals...

Anything WE can get especially associated with DS and animation regarding sci-fi...We are there...

Remember this is a NDA issue...

Thanks folks...

We are on a time Budget so I need confirmation ASAP so I can send to next Level...
Thanks...

Well DAZ has been telling the community for months that 7 is being worked on...

This call out is for content in 7 and beyond...

I have been givin the task of making sure that I get as many users involved as I can..Thats why I am here at go ole Rendy...

foleypro ( ) posted Fri, 08 January 2010 at 7:59 AM

Oh and after further discussions...A 25$ gift certificate will be issued to all that have an account at DAZ and get picked for their content for inclusion of V7...

This is great news :)

wait. that would mean that if we created object content not found in Bryce, that if included it would be part of Bryce but not canon so the Cardinal would be objecting to objects that were....;)

my head is spinning...;)

quite simply; if I make a convoluted primitive in Wings, Topmod, Anim8tor, or Hexagon, and it's included in Bryce 7, it becomes canon by default...;)  However, if it doesn't make the cut, it's still heretical...;) Shroedinger, help me out here...

ain't that a kick in the head...;)

Thanks for the offer, but I'm not that good...

pakled, just submit the content, and don't look at the included content.
As long as you don't look at the included content, it is both included and rejected, and it is canon and heteric by default, and you can use it without problems.
As soon as you look, the state will be defined, and then you got the problem if you may use it.

Just don't look :P

Cottage painting page link from Electroglyph's link above so you don't have to fumble about. Click on one of the images then click on zoom to see it better. I have his book here "Paintings of Radiant Light" not to mention a couple of his calenders.

The most famous painter of light?  I thought that was Turner - it is for me anyway.

Thanks for the links.

"He got his assed beat here on rendo like 9-10  years ago in a contest.."

I was not here nine, ten years ago, so what happened?

If he was beaten - who by?

I can see why such work could be very popular.

Thomas Kinkade does'nt even paint anymore, I dont think he has painted for over a decade.  He has an army of copy cat, low wage Artists copying his style and he just approves them and laughs to the bank.

Thomas Kinkade is MacDonalds of painting, they keep pumping out paintings under the name.

60 Minutes did a piece on him years ago.

What? assembly line Kinkade? Micky D Kinkade? Oh no...say it ain't so! ;-)
