Hello guys!!!!

Ok.. I have a question to everyone interested in these packs.. or not.. Any feedback will help actually.

Ok.. this is the thing... I usually add 20 styles for pack and to fit it all there I sometimes  have to lower the resolution of the file.

Some people ask me for a higher resolution.. but for that price I have to keep the file at  a certain size. SOme people render really big and ask for high resolution files
My question is.. what would you guys think is best..

1 - Keep the same amount of styles and lower the resolution to keep the price
2 - Make it with 2 or 3 styles less and keep the same price
3 - Keep the same amount of styles, higher resolution  but raise a bit the price so I can add a bigger file.

I would really appreciate your feedback cause in the end.. it´s what you guys think is best that really matters..

ilona.....I own pretty much every Instant Hair pack you sell and I love them exactly the way they are. If I would change anything about them, it would be only changes to the posing (not so many straight on and more with the head tilted or bent slightly). I would also love to see more for the males (M4 especially) and more styles to fit the fantasy genre (such as elven, longer warrior type, etc). But I do love them and very often mix the various styles to achieve the look I want. Your hairs are very versatile in that aspect.

I'm not sure I would want the price changed since, as much as I love your hairs, I find it difficult now days to work the price in my budget. So perhaps a compromise? Make some the same way you have always done for those of us on a budget and perhaps the higher resolutions ones could be priced higher. If I had the money, I'd buy those as well. Not much help, I'm sure, but at least it gave me the chance to let you know how much I love your packs.

If this helps any, I usually render at 1440 X 900 and have yet to find a hair that does not fit my characters.** Even if I do a close up and have to re-size the hair upwards, I lose no quality in doing so. Hope this helps you.

I would probably look at making half the pack at a higher resolution and price it accordingly. Leave the existing pack as it is if it is selling well.

In this economy I would not consider raising prices.

I won´t change the ones out there, no way.. its just for the next ones.... I will probably meet half way  and I am noting all ideas you are giving me for the next ones... I will work on more fantasy hairs... ANY ideas are welcomed for sure!!!!

Good to hear that you're "meeting halfway" as I'm hoping it means I can still buy your packs in the future. Definitely looking forward to more, especially the fantasy genre for males. Poor Micheal4 is suffering from lack of hair. grin

I have several of your packs as well and I like them as they are, too. Right now, a higher price is something I cannot afford lately.

Do you take requests?LOL.

I have a hard time with the African American characters because there just isn't hardly AA hair out there in 3D land.

Could you do some instant hairs for the AA people? Curly, frizzy, wacky and outrageous? I do alot of fairies and some odd hairstyles would be great. I also do normal people too.LOL

I agree with markshum. Split the amount, up the resolution and keep the price at the current level.

I have several as well... your work is very precise and quality. I'll continue to purchase.

PPS, a sale every other month is great incentive too!!! :)
