A disappointed salesman of Coca Cola returns from his assignment to Israel.  A friend asked : Why weren't you successful with the Israelis?

The salesman explained, "When I got posted, I was very confident that I would make a good sales pitch.  But, I had a problem. I didn't know how to speak Hebrew. So, I planned to convey the message through three posters."

First poster : A man lying in the hot desert sand .. totally exhausted and fainting 
Second poster : The man is drinking our Cola 
Third poster : Our man is now totally refreshed 
And then these posters were pasted all over the place."

"Then that should have worked !!" said the friend

"The hell it should have ?!!," said the salesman.  "What I didn't realize though, was that they read from right to left!!!"

Well, they say that too many soft drinks are bad for the health, so I guess that the posters prove it.

PS: A few years ago, Pepsi decided to break into the Israeli market, having previously boycotted her in compliance to the Arab Blacklist.  However, they came up with one of the worst ad campaigns that I've ever seen, alienating the religious beliefs of a large portion of their projected market: The campaign was a linear projection of the evolution of Man from a bipedal ape to to a modern day Wind Surfing Pepsi Drinker. Ever since I saw that ad plastered on billboards across the country, I've refused to even allow Pepsi into my home. I have nothing against Darwin, but I don't believe that the sum total of human development was to become a Pepsi drinker.
