I think the clouds need to be shrunk a bit.

From outer space, Earth's atmosphere is paper thin. From space, the clouds look like they are sitting on top of continents, not floating above them. From space, clouds are pretty much featureless, unless you are close enough or zoom in greatly. The atmosphere you have drawn is about 1000% too thick.

Okay, clearly it could be more accurate, but art is often about exaggeration to make a point, in such a case, I like the thick atmosphere and clouds.

Thanks folks.  rashadcarter I am confused.  I do not see an atmosphere.  Only clouds and planet.

I see something of a fuzzy glow around the planet, like a halo or atmosphere. I think that blue haze is far too thick. It blends nicely into the background. But the real atmosphere is paper thin compared to the one in this image, if that makes any clearer sense.

Try changing primary planet material to "fuzzy".
