Subject: How do you edit poser fct files?

Does anyone know of a tutorial for editing poser fct files?

the main issue is that it always comes up saying that this is not for this figure
it is v4 and the file was made with v4?....duh...

Maybe you mean fc2?  I don't know fct

With face file you get message similar if you have not injected morph that file is looking for.
It can't set value for morph not there, so it say not for this figure

FC2 files are plain text, you can edit them in a text editor, eg EditPad Lite, or a CR2 editor, eg CR2Builder, both are free.

The error message may be because you don't have the same morphs injected into the figure you are trying to use the FC2 on, as were in the figure the FC2 was saved from.

Thanks ~ I thought it may be a trick like with pp2 files. but it was because the PC I tested with does not have the newest version of v4.......
