Subject: PoserPro2010 upgrade question

Hello all,

Does anyone know if you have Poser7 and upgrade to PoserPro2010, do you get a full version of PoserPro2010? If you do, can you use both of them on the same computer does the license work that way? If this is possible are there any drawbacks or compatibility problems doing this? I would not want to get PoserPro2010 and experience problems and not be able to use Poser7 in the meantime until an update is pushed out.

Thanks.

I have Poser 7, Poser 8 and poserpro 2010 on the same laptop and yes they all worked fine with each other in the same applications directory (i use a Mac)

i used to use poser 7 to set up my scene - save it and then open it in either Poser 8 or poser pro 2010 to render because i use reflections and such and i love the render engine on 8 and 2010.

I did a sidegrade from poser 8 to poserpro 2010 and its the full version.

The Upgrade and Sidegrade are Pricing Options. The use of the qualifying Serial Code provide you with the discount. The Program you receive is the Full Installer.

Thanks for the quick answers. I did not know about the sidegrade option. I guess that is what I would need.

Thanks again for the help.

If you really wanted to you could have Poser 4,5,6,7,pro,8 & Pro 2010 installed all at the same time, I wouldn't suggest it though as they take up a heck of a lot of room before you even start adding the content. ;)
