I am sad to report that veteran actor Robert Culp has passed.  As reported in the New York Post:

Quote:

ACTOR Robert Culp, who starred in the groundbreaking 1960s television series "I Spy" with Bill Cosby, died Wednesday morning after a fall near his home in LA, officials said.

A jogger yesterday morning found the 79-year-old actor unconscious on the street outside his Hollywood home, where it appeared he been taking a walk.

He was pronounced dead at a hospital a short time later. An autopsy was set to be performed tomorrow.

Culp became famous for sharing top billing in the 1965-68 series "I Spy," with Cosby, the first African American actor to star in a TV drama.

He will be missed.

He was one of my favorite actors. He did some fantastic work in the original Outer Limits; Architects of Fear, Corpus Earthling and Demon With a Glass Hand.
R.I.P. I Spy Guy.

Once back in the late 60s I saw him and France Nguyen in an airport. Of course, I didn't pay too much attention to him and neither did the crowd of surrounding gawkers.  He did a lot of other movies and I believe a short Western TV series as well.  R.I.P.

Amazon is selling season sets of I Spy for under $12.  It's well worth the price.
