Vue F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Dec 30 8:14 pm)
I know what you mean. Sometimes, the same happens to me. It's some sort of bug but I was never able to exactly determine the steps to reproduce it (and so also never reported it). Most of the times (99%) works fine for me, though. But if you can reproduce it, then you should report it to e-on (on their site -> customer care -> contact a technician -> put your details and click "contact a technician" -> put more details and submit the bug; you'll be contacted some time later, normally within 24 or 48 hours, working days only).
I just realized there was an update to my version of Vue 7 and since installing it, I have had no problems with the issue. Not too sure why there was never a notification when I open up the program because I always got them for the prior updates. Anyways, thanks for the advice Artur and thanks for posting so many of your amazing works here. Willow Road is one of my all time favorites. Take care.

I'm having a problem with the "show last render in back" option.
After loading my scene I make sure this is checked along with the "show only selected objects" option. Then I render the scene and everything is fine. Next I make a few changes/additions to the scene and render it again. The new scene now displays in the main camera view. However, once I attempt to do anything else to the scene, the first render overrides the most recent render making it problematic to continue editing the scene. No matter how many additional times I render the scene, the first render always redisplays in the main camera view.
I opened up my Vue 6 program and compared every option I could think of side by side to Vue 7 to see if I could find out why this problem exists when it doesn't ever happen in Vue 6, but I have had no success and unfortunately it is near impossible to finish a scene without updated render previews in the background.
If this sounds confusing in any way, what I'm basically saying is the "display last render in back" is working like a "display first render in back" option.
