If you haven't seen it yet, log into google and check out their banner.

If you want to know the history, let me know and I'll explain.

If you click on the name Topeka you get a pretty extensive history about it .....

Huh? This is all I can see on google.co.uk and google.com . And this is near Bournemouth, not Beijing.

The UK feed may be different.  Here we get "Topeka".

I think that's only in the US...

Brings to mind some old Frank Zappa:

I don't get the topeka logo, but I do get the link for the 'animal translator' app.

Unfortunately its only for Android.

Google doodle history is fun. Check these out.

They might be different outside the US. In the US we can see all the ones for Google all over the world. For example, this one was UK-only mother's day for this year:

I was very excited to see this one on Pi day, March 14:

Renderosity forum reply notifications are wonky. If I read a follow-up in a thread, but I don't myself reply, then notifications no longer happen AT ALL on that thread. So if I seem to be ignoring a question, that's why. (Updated September 23, 2019)

It seems fair to me.  Since Topeka changed its name to Google and all.

I thought Topeka was supposed to be for a full month, not just a day.

bjt860 ( ) posted Thu, 01 April 2010 at 11:04 PM

They did. For the whole month of March.

That's all we saw today too, only ours has "Canada" in the bottom right under "Google"
