Good selection of a topic for me Carin!

And it looks like I get to put my feet in the water first on this challenge:)

I uploaded a slight variation of this in my gallery earlier today. This upload is a wee bit simplified...removed the lens flare detail.

I'll look for more...this ought to be fun.

Thanks,
Bill

Ahhh - nice one Bill! Just what I had in mind! I really like this shot as well as the slightly doctored one in your gallery post! So, you have opened the dance floor... Let the fun begin!!!

Sound interesting theme...

Bill, the gentle curve in a ripple is so attractive. Like the idea the duck swiming towards a light.

Here is mine hope not too much.

This is hot. I have scads of photos where I missed what I was aiming at and come up with something minimalist that had some appeal...and a few that didn't. LOL

I'll be back on this one... as soon as I get home!

This is shot 34 - at least - trying to get a gull in flight. It didn't work but it does quality for this challenge. :-)

Because then, when a go walking I maybe can look for any objects.

Forgive me if I'm too cheeky or would be greedy.
It's because I do not exactly know the rules jet.

Hi!  I went to my little studio and made this shot : Dont know why, but my camere sometimes doesnt want to focus, so I had to take many shots before it finally did what I asked it to do. How rude. !

bmac62 ( ) posted Wed, 07 April 2010 at 12:10 PM

Good one Helle. You must send you camera off to school to learn its' manners.

Helle - what a cracker of a shot! Your camera seems to need some discipline!!!

Yes, I am afraid Olympus is a bit sour with me, after I bought my little point and shoot Canon, but i have explained to Olympus, that when I want really good shots, I will use him for it.

Tunde, yes, white on white but you found just enough shadow on the saucer and saucer (?) so the cup is identifible without taking anything away from the beans.  Nicely composed and exposed.

MrsLubner ( ) posted Thu, 08 April 2010 at 8:50 AM

Wow, Tunde! That was a difficult shot! And you really got it well AND the balance in the composition is so very appealing!
Helle, I love the rock. On cold days in winter, my family often sits at the kitchen table and paints rocks just for fun.

Oh Tunde ... you do the impossible SO well!  :)  What a fantastic shot!

Don't worry, Helle, I know someone else who loves his fancy Olympus but looks longingly at my 20X zoom Canon from time to time!    There's always something your camera doesn't do, no matter what camera you have!

I'm really enjoying seeing what people are posting here!  I promise, I'll get busy!
