Subject: To the community users...

Hi, I think a lot of people are now aware of what happened with my work. I wanted to give some news... First, I want to thank Jenifer Keeling, who is the Renderosity copyright agent. She may be the most patient and kindest person in the world :) Thanks again Jen :) All the textures I suspected were proven to use some of my materials, and I'll ask for a fair compensation for the prejudice. I decided to close my site, not to punish anyone, but to protect myself, as it has been a hard week. So, I want to thanks from the deepest part of my heart all the people ( and you were a lot :) who supported me, and gave me their opinions about the subject. Thanks ... really !! All the story is not dealing about anger, but deception. While I was waiting for my textures to be perfect, before thinking about selling them, some people were maing money with them. I finally think I should be happy to deal with textures, as it's far easier to prove a copyright infrigement than when you got doubts about morphs. Last week, I felt what Traveller could have thought when faced to his problems... So, I just want to take a week off now, and I will then decide what will happen to my site. I can now say Renderosity protects all its artists ( both Free Stuff and Market Place contributors ). Thanks to you. Even if I re-open my site, I think I will now make both free and selling stuff. But I don't want to sacrifice all the people my work could interest for my security. Thanks to all of you. Joelegecko

Whatever is your decision, she will be the good. To take the time to think always prevails over the anger. You are an artist and a good, you are right to protect you. Michel

I'd gladly pay for some of your Michael textures! If you are taking requests for textures to sell, please let me know. I'm glad you were able to get this resolved. It's sad that there's still thieves out there, but there are still a lot of honest people in the world. Good luck, no matter what you decide.

Keep your chin up, Joe! Take the time to make whatever decision you are most comfortable with. As for me, I will keep my link to your site active, as I am hopeful that you will remain in this community one way or another. By the way - stop waiting for perfection in you work to sell it, it's already better than a lot in the marketplace. You can always offer "free upgrades" for your paying customers whenever you decide to improve something.

Your work is much appreciated. I'm glad that there are some protections in place, and hope that whatever you decide is based upon objectivity and not anger. Many of us have been ripped off, so we can understand the hurt feelings when it happens to our colleagues. It is your decision, and we'll respect you whichever way it goes. Carolly

Hello I understand your point of view. Hope you will be back soon. Thanks for your great textures. Claude

Thanks, Joe. With the stunning lack of textures for all Poser male figures, your work has become all that more important, rare and valuable. Here's hoping that you'll decide to re-open. we miss you already.
