THE PLACE FOR ALL THINGS BRYCE - GOT A PROBLEM? YOU'VE COME TO THE RIGHT PLACE

Subject: A simple question from a novice

I'm just starting out learning Bryce, and have downloaded a few free objects to try them out.  However, when I try to open the Bryce Object Preset (ball icon with concave dents) it won't.  When I try to import object, it won't recognize it.  It's probably quite simple, but, if someone out there could tell me how to get this into Bryce, it would be much appreciated.

Bryce objects are "obp" file objects....  you have to put them in the corresponding folder and them open the object browser, find it and import the object...  You could do that in the "user" part of the categories in the browser.... or in it' own category if you got one for it...  You can also make your own categories...   Hopefully, someone will give you more detailed instructions...

This is a tutorial I wrote for making material files. The bryce object files work the same way and I explain them a little bit at the end.
