Subject: Carrara invisible command

I'm new to Carrara but experienced in Ray Dream Studio. Is there an equivalant in Carrara to the much used invisible/visible command I have been using in Ray Dream? I don't see it in the view pull-down

Do you mean this item in the properties tray?

Great! I made my object invisible. But I cannot see how to make it visible again. The index in the Reference Guide has nothing about this subject.

Just select your object in the sequencer tray, and check "visible" in the properties . Note : if you want the object to be rendered but you don't want to see it in the assemble room (because it's too complex or because it hides something), uncheck "show object in 3D view" instead of "visible" . litst

Still doesnt work. I select the object in the sequencer (the botton tray) but all that appears in the properties tray is "spline object" there are none of the commands such as "visible" vernonglen

You got to select it while you're in the assemble room : open the sequencer tray and click on the name of your object once . Open the properties tray and select the "general" area . You should now have the dialog box Mark have shown . Hope this helps ! litst

Thank you, I didn't realize that the name in the Masters list could be different from that in the universe. vernonglen
