I did a new Video in Vue 7.5 Infinite and want share the result with you. I also give away the terrain scene file I used for the Video. The terrain was created with GeoControl2 and imported in Vue. The Car is not included in file, because it is a product from VanishingPoint.biz.

The terrain did work in Vue 7.4 . All texture maps are included! The road stripes texture map was made with Corel Draw and has size of 10000x10000 pixels for best result.

In scene file is a short camera animation. Select the Road Run Camera to see it. Atmosphere is included too. The scene render very fast (less than 2 minutes per frame on my system).
Play with the sea level for different effects (or hide it).  Add eco system ...

Have fun

Good camera movement, very dynamic, well done! The road on the terrain was very well made. Maybe the white lines are too white, but that's a minor point.
Good work! 👍

The back end of the car is very loose around the corners, but it's a cool anim. Reminds me of the car chase sequence in Basic Instinct. Well done!

Yeah after years of stupid looking designs Dodge finally came out with a car the reminds of their muscle cars from when I was a kid. It's a fine ride brother!

Vue can be a very fast render, even with radiosity turned on. I always optimize my scenes for radiosity use.

Hi Mazak,
I've got one question: how did you keep the car one the road in the vertical dimension?

I have to place a car very carefully so that the wheels just touch the road, so I guess there's a simpler way to do this with animations.

Hi Crowning, indeed it is very simple to animate a car in Vue. I will give you a quick overview how to do it.

In my example I use the Mercedes that is include in Vue. I use in my scene real world scale so you do not need rescale the Car. Rotate the car in drive direction. And place it a few meters above the street. Then right click the button "Smart Drop Objects". The car drop correct on the street.

Step1:

Step2:

Open the Animation Wizard Ctrl+F11. Select Grounded Vehicles Automobile. ^^

Perfectly understandably explanation. That's perfect 👍

I can't test this right now, so do the wheels spin automatically?

If you animate a car in Vue the wheels did not spin automatically. That is a complete different story. The Mercedes in Vue has no wheels object. So no spinning wheels. You need a more advanced object for that. 😉

She can be with the V4 add ons out there. There are also a few V4 figures that have been sculpted to be anatomically correct too that accepts your own character morphs and textures you may have bought.

It does bring up a good point in that Daz should make V5 anatomically correct just like they did with M4. I mean people are artists after all, not kids playing with toy Barbie dolls. :)

Yeah, just watched a tutorial about spinning wheels in Vue, so I know how it can be done.
Seems not too hard to make.
I guess the steering will be really a PITA. Maybe time for some Python coding (...if the animation points can be read from the Vue Python API. I have to check when I'm back home).

Brilliant render.  At first I just opened it, as I usually do with animations but having seen it I went back and saved it. Going to look at the tute now.
