Ziekeo nice motor is that for a motocross bike? Nah not a Jensen Interceptor I am familiar with it because it was in the Road Warrior movies. A bit more work done it is a 1963 Studabacker Avanti. It is what would be a futuristic car in 1963.

Really stunning work  zikeo. The work on the dials bring it too life. If I were to be critical the indicator lights look a bit square though I'm sure you have done them acurately. I think I vaguelly remember these bikes which looked modern/futuristic at the time but sounded like a hair dryer.

Still some more to do yet, Nut Heads for all the places that are visable and should have Hex's. The KPH markings on the Speedo head and maybe an odometer.
AirFlames - Now you've pointed it mine do look a little bit squarer on the corners.

I did have one of these towards the later end of the 1980's when I was 16.
Always made me want to become a Seamstress. ;)

Last night (or was it the wee hours of this morning?) I popped this one out. Going crazy with the circularize command in Wings and some clever use of edge intersect as well as a few other tricks...

So now I've got to come up with an idea for a car to put this nifty 17" rim on.

Watched the latest Dr Who last night.
And whilst trying to think of something to model, I just thought 'What the hell. Go for it!'
Started modelling at about 13.00ish and have now spent 6 hours on it.
Can you tell what it's supposed to be?

Never saw Dr Who, though I did see a clip with one of those things, Dylek or something.
After watching for a bit, I decided those things were worth obliterating just for their voice

Couldn't think of a car to go with that wheel yet. So I dug up an old project and worked on it instead. I think after this I'll UV a few spots to put some labels on it and call this one done.

Oh and that bike looks slick btw. Needs some signal lamps to be street legal though.

Thanks Paul. Have you thought about adding some type set as 3D lettering? Gives a lovely raised look. I have also dug up a model from some time ago. Back then I called this finished. The mesh isn't to bad, just over populated. I'm now going to strip back the mesh and try to give him a more Robot look than Cyborg.

Zikeo that is some great stuff like to see how the new bot turns out. Pauljs I should make a camera too great practice and some good work there. Dark edge that looks liek a useful thing to have to make some interesting scenes.

I am working on a sort of sci fi scene I wanted to do a saucer like the old Perry Rhodan books. I have some other elements done and more to go.

Darkedge - the floor panels look cool. Has a nice StarCrafty feel to it.
Just needs some barracks, depots, and siege tanks - and it'll look ready for a zerg rush. :)

I think I'll leave it de-badged though. Any respectable 3D program should make it easy to add text or an ol' .ai format outline shape in order to put a name or logo on it. (Also because I don't feel like running into any TM issues when selling it. I've heard enough stories from modelers of cars and some lines of virtual clothing.) It is based on a Pentax I have, so if you want real-world comparisons those are the ones to look at.
