Subject: Gigi and Holli... I almost got dragged back buying poser products...

oh what a dissapointment!! I wanted Gigi sooo much.... but then I read you can't use the "toddler" in Poser? And the K4 kids are a bit odd... but Mada, Sarsa and Thorn do SUCH remarkable, gorgeous work with any morphs, maps and meshes... I did buy Holli... and am moved to do some art (have not in a LONG time, being more into LIVING POSER, via Second Life these days!) and spend some MONEY in the Poser world... BUT... now I am stopped COLD! 

I never could get a handle on DAZ studio, don't have Carerra... so I guess aside from buying Ken's Owls, things like that, I will save a lot of money USING WHAT I ALREADY HAVE... all my darling OLDER Poser kids and vicki and all... which of course I have already bought those same talented merchants items and more... but talk about killing a market... shooting oneself in the foot... HOW could a company in this economic climat DO THAT ????

Oh well, thanks for listening to my soap box rant! I am going on back to Second Life....and my "older, but just as beautiful and cute" Poser figures....

Hi Lyne. I sure do miss your animals. The kids characters still work on the kids themselves. The toddler morph does not work at all in Poser.

Holli is face morph and she works fine in PP2010. Gigi have yet to buy. I assume that SM is hard at work on the scaling issue in P8 and PP2010. It's purely the toddler morphs that are the problem. And there is a script out there that scales the body to use the toddler morphs I am told at fairywide I believe.

And I totally agree. I don't like DS and thus do not use it. And I'm seeing more and more "Poser" content now being only DS content.

Oh well.. I'm working on something that'll be Poser only L so I guess I'm just as bad, just in reverse...

Lyne, why don't you simply ask Thorne and Sarsa over at FaerieWylde instead of rambling through all forums there is claiming things that aren't true. Mada already told you over in the DAZ forum that their dollies work fine in Poser.

There have been rumors of the toddler and even of the kids not working, but if you have any questions regarding their functionality, or the characters that Mada and Thorne create, please contact them or Daz3d to ensure you get the best replies possible that will help you.
