Since I spend most of my time here with th Bryce community, I thought I would share this here and go a step further and make something fun. :)

I am working on creating a new model in Rhino and will be rendering it and playing with it in Bryce as I do with all my stuff, so if any of you can guess what it is before it's done, I'll give you a prize....TBD.... :)

FYI, the Star Fury scifi design was chosen as a design for the basis of a REAL NASA vessel, for oh, moving/lifting stuff in space, as the StarFury is about the only such vessel in a scifi film that truly "works" liek a real space vessel.
in space, you bloody well cannot do right angle turns, stop dead, etc, unless you have antigravity

wee things called "inertia" "momentum" and "lack of friction in space" and "doing such manouvers you'd hit 100+g and you'd turn into  tsrawberryjam, and no bloody Star Trek Next Generation technobabble ways around it!" hehe

It's not finished, and it was named. So, as promised, I will offer a reward. Silverblasde33 will recieve the first copy of the finished model. :) let's just hope I can make it look as good as the original or somewhere close even :) There are other starfury models out there, but this one is mine...oh there I go getting all full metal jacket again... :)

 Well, I have been slacking...so I just dove back into making the model and realized the upper wing was all out of whack so re-did that hehe..it's basically the most complex part of the model and it's fixed now, so on with the rest...might finish it tonight...dunno...

Still working on this, getting closer now.... :D Re-did the upper wing again, now re-dooing the rest...got some thrusters on it :)

 Getting there... have a few things to tweak and some details to add..then texturing...I may release it without textures though...not sure. :) Here is a quick test render of what I have so far...

hm try MACHINE WASH a photoshop plugin I find it very good for "grime" :)
need to dig that CD out again to re-install it since I upped ot WIndows7, sigh, keep forgetting to do it
newer versions out but don't wanna shell out for it

 Ok finally it is finished..the model anyway. :) Now for texturing.
I won't post in this thread again. I'll post an image in the gallery when it's done. :)

 Yea im exploring different brushes etc for photoshop at the moment to see what will work best.
