Is there still a foam layer in the material editor ? IIRC, changing the water type means it's not the meta-water any more so things don't work as expected (been a while since I used that so I could be talking rubbish mind  )

Yes there is still a foam layer and after changing the material all-together, there is a foam layer. I even deleted y water plane and started again from scratch, still no foam.

Not sure about Pioneer, but if you can, check on the global water settings & ensure you didn't disable the foam or set it for an unrealistic depth as a trigger.
By default (if I remember) meta water foam is triggered when the underlying object is 1 m or less from the water surface. you can (in complete+ at least) adjust this to better suit your scene. So try 1m/3m/5m etc dropoffs/objects beneath the waves.
Also - w/pioneer if you cant access the settings directly you may want to try resetting your preferences to e-on Defaults (checkbox on prefs) just in case you worked w/content that might have altered things on you.
Good luck!
Thank you Falcon that was the issue :)

Heya all thanks for all the help in my first thread :) I haven't bought Vue yet, so I am working in Pioneer for a bit and learning.. :)
Thank you all in advance for tolerating the newbie questions. :)
I am working on a scene, and I seem to have broken the foam feature in the built in meta-waters material? I have changed the material to standard water, channel water and back to the "Wavy Shore" but my foamy beach water is not showing up in my test renders (render settings set to final)... any thoughts?
