Off the top of my head I'm thinking 'Boys messing about with a dingy', 'Folks fishing on a river bank', 'Bathers under a waterfall'.
Does that help?

I'm not lucky: I don't know yet to make this kind of scene and BW I haven't the items

Lior, the theme can mean a lot of things. Make you're own interpretation. There does not need to be any people in the scene at all ofcourse. You can just as well make a scene of a pretty little lake, or maybe a tree that is close to the waters edge, and so on. I hope you get an idea for a render and can join the challenge. :)

There are a couple of entries posted already. They may give you an idea or two.

I'm beginning to understand but why isn't it an anonymous chalenge : when voting one would choose his friend? May be I'm wrong?

Rynn ( ) posted Wed, 12 May 2010 at 2:05 PM

I suppose, I personaly vote for the entry I think is best. Doesn't matter who is the one who made it in my opinion.

In this forum I met very nice persons always ready to help đŸ˜„

It's a challenge to give us the possibility to improve with Vue but IMO,when you know the name of the artist you are influenced, which is my case.

The rules as they stand were thrashed out ages ago. Yes, you could vote for a friend. But how does that help your friend, if he/she has posted rubbish?

You're right: Surely I wouldn't choose rubbish bw if I enter in a Vue chalenge it wouldn't be to be the winner but 'cause it's an interesting theme of a challenge, that's all!

Rynn ( ) posted Thu, 13 May 2010 at 12:12 PM

I think that's the right idea. The challenge is about learning and trying new things. A person sets a theme, and you need to work with that theme. It's a great way to make a scene that you would otherwise perhaps never make. And although winning can be fun, in my opinion it is all about the fun of making a scene that fits the theme.

how much of a delay should be expected for review and approval?

deecee ( ) posted Tue, 15 June 2010 at 4:15 AM

Just wondered when the results of the latest challenge would be announced, rules said voting closes three days after image entry deadline, its now the 15th of the month, and nothing posted yet.
