Subject: Names for the girls

David_Amos ( ) posted Wed, 01 August 2001 at 8:01 AM · edited Fri, 29 November 2024 at 5:41 PM

I dont know about anybody else, but I feel we should name the millennium girls. Millennium woman is named Victoria, millennium man is named Michael even the standard P4 man has a name Dork. I feel these two girls should also have a name to reflect their wonderful nature. I would suggest Cindy and Zo Now Vicky has either two younger sisters or daughters, does that mean we could soon see Michaels younger brothers or sons? Now that would really make things interesting. Heres to a new generation of models one that is looking bright and fresh, well done Daz. David

Yupp, another mystery for new Poser users! ;) Lets see the small one: Lena (short for Helena, the bright one) the bigger one: Susan (Hebrew: Lily)

How about on named after Vicki's cousin Posette... we can call her... Posie And other can be ... Mini-her. (Yeah...yeah... I know... too many Austin Powers movies) How about naming the other after Vicki's other cousin... (Poser) Dork... Deana

The small one: Cutie. The pre teen: Sweetie. :) (Hey, they're accurate names!)

I think Sierra for the little one (lol thats my grandaughters name and she's ornery! ) And we could call her sissy :) I don't know about the older one, Maybe, Cara?

I don't know about the pre teen, but the little one looks like my daugther so I put out her middle name "Renee" (there is already a character with her first name)

"Come on people, toss me a freakin' bone here!" hee hee. anyway.... I'm gonna run a few past you... I dont think these are in the current character database, but if I am wrong, please point it out. Ana (pronounced Ah-nah) ::::: Favored Grace Katelyn ::::: ????? Millie ::::: (Oh come on people! Think about it!) I also like Zoe, as before mentioned. But those are my picks that I came up with. And although Millie is very suitable, they would be too much confusion with Vicky when talking about her. Any feedback on them? a3-ro2.gif

4 year old -- Crystal, Kylie, Jennifer preteen: Molly, Kelly, Sabrina

nfredman ( ) posted Wed, 01 August 2001 at 12:08 PM

Katelyn is a Handspan Studios character (and a nice one, too!) Millie is Jaager's babe. Zoe and Cindy are great.

Let's try and keep the names relevent and making some sort of logic. How about Valarie for Preteen and Val for PreSchool, since they are both Millinum girls and related to Vicki keep with the same V. Also Val is smaller and would be better for the smaller character. Just an idea, Super

phoenixamon ( ) posted Wed, 01 August 2001 at 12:35 PM

We've already got Millie, so we should have Molly and Minnie.

KateTheShrew ( ) posted Wed, 01 August 2001 at 12:54 PM

Hmmm... how about... Tori and Tia? (you know, from vicTORIa and vicTorIA)

spudgrl ( ) posted Wed, 01 August 2001 at 1:36 PM

I like the tori and tia suggestion. :) I also like kelly-cause thats my name. LOL. My daughters are named madison-she's 9 and jourdain-she's 3 maybe you can use those?

a_super_hero ( ) posted Wed, 01 August 2001 at 1:43 PM

I love Tori and Tia and the reason behind them. Thanks

nfredman ( ) posted Wed, 01 August 2001 at 1:46 PM

Tori and Tia are nice, too. :^)

lalverson ( ) posted Wed, 01 August 2001 at 2:27 PM

Yes and the Pre-school ager looks alot like my daugther Megan-liegh

ChromeTiger ( ) posted Wed, 01 August 2001 at 3:50 PM

Count me in on Tori and Tia...leave it to Kate to pull two winners of of gasp logical thinking... ;-)

hauksdottir ( ) posted Wed, 01 August 2001 at 4:00 PM

Tori and Tia are fine names, and logical. I like them. Besides, they are probably better than what the guys at DAZ have called them this week before birth! :) Carolly

burntToast ( ) posted Wed, 01 August 2001 at 5:12 PM

I like Tori and Tia too.

Silvermermaid ( ) posted Wed, 01 August 2001 at 6:26 PM

I guess I am the sour apple in the group :) Everyone has a special name for the Millennium Girls. I don't think they should be named anything, many people have different taste when it comes to naming. Let the purchaser give a name to the Millennium girls to make it more special, names vary by culture as well. For example May in Swahili means Mei. May in Japanese means Satsuki etc. (if I am not mistaken on the translations). Daz is reaching new heights with these Millennium Girls and they are truly "future-like". But anyway, Daz will probably have a contest on the names though. So they probably will eventually have some type of names. :)

bigdog1 ( ) posted Thu, 02 August 2001 at 4:27 PM

Ok this may be a really stupid suggestion. For the older one Dazie. For the younger one, uh, I'm stumped. Personally I favor the Tori and Tia idea.

KateTheShrew ( ) posted Thu, 02 August 2001 at 5:34 PM

The way I see it is we're only naming them so that we'll know which model we're talking about when we post questions and stuff like that. Besides, it's less to type than pre-teen or 4 yr old g Kate (who is all for less typing)
