Hi Renderosity! :blushing:

I looked around to see if there was a place to make introductions and I didn't see anything so I figured I 'd put this here. lol

Anywayz, I came to this site after searching for stuff on art a few months ago and I am amazed at the level of talent I see all over!

Well I'm new to this whole poser 3d thing but I've been playing with it and hope to have some pictures to share soon! :m_bouncy: lol

Okies, that's about all for now but I'm sure I'll have more to talk about after I've met some more of the nice people here! lmao :m_bouncy:

Hi Brenda and welcome... this IS a fun place, and it also challenges your mind. People speak to you straight, and you can be straight with them. A lot of personalities live here... some of the brightest minds anywhere contribute to this forum.

We all like to push Poser as far as we can, no matter which version we happen to have. If your art style is pseudo-realism, dali-esque, neo-classism, or ya just wonder if Poser -Can--Do-That, this is the place to find it all out.

If we don't know the answer, we'll be sure to make something up. I MEAN, someone will come along who will have a brighter answer than ours and ya know what? we won't mind.

 Hi Brenda,
Welcome.
Before you ask.  NVIAT stands for Naked Vickie in a Temple.  Because lots of people try to do boris vallejo (an airbrush artist) style pics with poser and other 3d software.
You get the vickies at DAZ3D.com

Yes, once you are here, you cannot leave. It is forbidden.

Too bad for rdna I already spent this month's hobby budget at Daz! lmao!

The rdna models look nice, but I really like the models that 3D Universe makes. I think 3D Universe is awesome IMVHO! roflmao!

 Welcome Brenda

I also tried escaping for a few years- but I came back.

I also had a bit of an over budget with my Daz purchases- when I returned.

Look around and you will find some great free-stuff

And DPHoadley will tell you that all you need are the P4 Posette and the dude (known affectionately as the "Dork".)

You mean the models from old versions of poser? I don't think that there is a way to make them look like cartoon animals or little children, which is what I like to do. roflmao

Actually those older models look downright ugly compared to the newer ones. roflmao

Welcome aboard Brenda!

Eric Walters ( ) posted Sun, 16 May 2010 at 1:37 AM

Brenda- EWWWWW Cutesy! :-) Just kidding- and I agree with you that Posette and Dork are homely-just don't let DPHoadley read that!

In his picture he has what first appeared (to me) as a baby sprouting out of his head- really! When I put my glasses on I could see it was a backpack-with a baby.... Since you are into Cartoon animals and kids-he will probably forgive you for calling Posette ugly. I hope! :-)
