Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Nov 14 4:48 pm)
Uhm.. there's no really nice way to put this so I'll just be my usually blunt self..
You've made three posts here, all of them announcing that you've made a render.
While I understand you like to share.. this ..er.. well you'll notice it's not common practice to do it.
People who want to look at pictures browse the galleries, people who wants to discuss Poser go to the forum.
That's not saying there's never a "Look what I made" post here.. but it's usually not the only thing someone uses the forum to say...

You just can't put the words "Poserites" and "happy" in the same sentence - didn't you know that? LaurieA

I'm incline to agree with TG. Several other newbies have taken the opportunity to do exactly what you did, which again is a nice gesture but not appropriate for the forum. If you are having problems with a particular aspect of Poser or would like advice how to overcome a Poser issue, this is the place. If you want a critique, then there is a critique section you can post for constructive criticism. Or you may post images in the forum if you are illustrating a point of clarification to a user who is having a difficult time comprehending the basic or advanced techniques.
Hey.. don't get mad. It's nothing about "geez" and thinking we're the jerks. We were trying to help. :)

bobnevin, don't feel bad... this is the place to come if you need help or if you can provide it, if you have any tips and tricks to pass on, that sort of stuff. And you'll find most people are very patient and helpful and willing to discuss more contentious issues in a civilised manner.
But blowing your own trumpet is considered a bit tacky.
