Subject: Product deleted from Storefront

Staceymb1 ( ) posted Wed, 19 May 2010 at 12:25 PM · edited Tue, 23 July 2024 at 5:51 AM

Hi, I did just send e-mail to Admin, and Vendor e-mail address.

I was just wondering if anyone else had their products deleted without any notice?

Perhaps it's a glitch.  I'm hoping so!  I can't see any reason my product would be deleted, especially without any warning from Renderosity.

Was it in clearance? Or did you opt out of clearance?   It is probably because it was either already in clearance and hadn't sold within the timeframe of clearance.

The marketplace staff will respond to your email.

From what I can tell this product hadn't sold in a number of months and since you did opt out of clearance then it automatically removes that product after no sales happen within the set timeframe.  So this is why your product was removed, due to the length of time since the last sale.

I was never given a warming, nor did it show it was in clearance.  I believe I put all my products to opt out of clearance.  I remember doing that specifically because I knew my products wouldn't sell quickly or a lot.  It was just there for whenever someone wanted it for however long.  I also was in a middle of a storewide sale.

If you opt out of clearance then it stays until no sales happen within the set store timeframe which is what happened to yours as there were no sales since Sept 2009.  With the information listed in your vendor control room, the vendor should be able to see how long it's been since a sale has happened for each of their products.

Also here is the link to the information about this (the timeframes that each vendor should be aware of) .
